Richard Kim, Of Counsel

Richard Kim served as a career prosecutor in Korea for more than 20 years, building extensive trial and investigative experience in sexual offenses, property crimes including fraud and traffic-related criminal matters. He began his prosecutorial career at the Changwon District Prosecutors’ Office and later handled a broad range of criminal cases at the Incheon District Prosecutors’ Office, Seoul Northern District Prosecutors’ Office, Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office, Seoul High Prosecutors’ Office and Busan High Prosecutors’ Office. Currently at the Asian headquarters of SJKP, he provides strategic legal representation in cases involving narcotics violations, homicide, assault and sexual assault, identifying case-specific defenses and delivering strong legal advocacy tailored to each client’s circumstances. He also holds notable expertise in tax law, with substantial experience advising on tax-related matters and defending clients in tax evasion and other tax-related criminal cases.
