Overview

As a member of the Criminal Defense Group of SJKP's Asian headquarters, Greg Ahn has served nearly twenty years as a career prosecutor, holding senior positions including Deputy Chief Prosecutor at the Chuncheon District Prosecutors Office, Chief Prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office and Chief Prosecutor at the Anyang Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors Office in Korea. He has handled a wide range of major criminal matters, including narcotics offenses, sexual violence cases, election crimes and intellectual property offenses, and is known for his strong analytical skills and extensive case-handling experience. He has also managed significant corporate matters, such as tax evasion cases involving mid-sized construction companies and violations of the Certified Public Accountant Act of Korea related to valuation of put-option stocks at a major life insurance company. In addition, through his work as legal counsel to the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seongbuk District Office, he has developed expertise in corporate advisory work and administrative law matters. Currently at the Asian headquarters of SJKP, he draws on his prosecutorial background to analyze cases with precision and develop strategic approaches, consistently working to achieve outcomes that meet his clients expectations.
